Another sunny Sunday warmed the Worship Center with members and guests ready to learn and worship.
The service opened with Deacon Gary Cook reading Psalm 25:1-7 and saying a prayer. Co-Worship Leader Jacob Hatcher picked up his guitar and led the gathered in song:
- Leaning on the Everlasting Arms
- 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)
A time of fellowship allowed everyone time to greet visitors, offer handshakes and hugs. Associate Pastor Ken Lovett brought the congregation together again with a few announcements:
- Souper Sunday tonight starts our return to Sunday Evening programming
- Pastor Search Committee discussion and Q&A during Souper Sunday
- Pastoral Prayer
Doug Hanna read Matthew 5:43-48, then Hatcher continued leading everyone in songs:
- I Surrender All
- I have Decided to Follow Jesus
Deacon Donnie Aebersold said a prayer before the offering plates were passed, while Hatcher played an interluded.
Associate Pastor Brandon Saunders delivered today’s message. This was the next message in multi-part sermon series on the book of 1st Timothy.
